What does community service mean to you?
It means providing an opportunity to help those most vulnerable within our community. It's an opportunity to bring out the best in each other by leaving your mark on the community with your service.
What is your commitment to MPSHS Key Club?
To facilitate the leadership process for all board and club members.
Fun fact: I'm a Girl Scout Troop Leader and I love servicing our community! Just visited Japan and loved all aspect of the country. The discipline is admirable!

Why Key Club?
I chose Key Club because I have learned that it is an incredible tool for personal growth. In Key Club, you learn necessary life skills that will shape you as an individual. It's in KEY Club where I learned how helping others in need is something that deeply touches my heart like nothing else.

​To me, community service means actively participating in your community with the purpose of leaving a positive impact on the people around you.

My favorite rock band is Metallica.
I came to the United States when I was 9 years old. I am from Caracas, Venezuela and I am happy to be here. I have a strong passion for sports like soccer and volleyball. I enjoy playing the two, but if I had to pick between the two, it would most likely be soccer.

Why Key Club?
Ever since I can remember I have always loved serving my community. Like Girl Scouts, Key Club offers opportunities to explore different community organizations and assist them to the best of our abilities. Key Club build bridges and communities for us beyond our high school community.
What does community service mean to me?
Being able to collaborate with friends in order to improve the lives of those most in need of our help within my community.

Fun fact: I'm a sports enthusiast: football and hockey a must! I am a Girl Scout, and I enjoy playing volleyball and planning my next big trip.

​Key Club gives me a real chance to make a difference while also growing as a person. Key Club focuses on service, leadership, and character building, so members aren't just volunteering to fill hours but they are helping their community in a meaningful way, like organizing fundraisers, supporting local charities, and working with younger students.

It's about empathy, understanding, and stepping outside of your comfort zone to connect with and support others.

My commitment to MPSH Key Club is about contributing to both the club and our community. I will be actively involved in planning and participating in service projects, bringing enthusiasm to every meeting, and collaborating with others to make our initiatives successful. ​I chose Key Club because I personally like to help around my community. In Key Club our focus is mostly on giving back to the community and it gives to all types of students on campus as long as one is willing to work hard. Key Club is also very welcoming and helps people socialize while making changes.

​It is giving back to a community in need and making a positive change in the lives of other people who need it most. Community services help us understand the lives of others and teaches a sense of responsibility. It reminds you that even the smallest projects can have the greatest different in our community and the world around us.
